Role Summary

This role focuses on enabling system-level analysis, optimization, and decision frameworks to support early-stage architecture and technology exploration for advanced SoCs and chiplet-based platforms.

The engineer will develop system-level STCO methodologies and frameworks, using data-driven methodologies for consistent evaluation of architecture, technology, and packaging trade-offs.

Experience Level

Mid-level, with a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience based on education level.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing modular, data-driven frameworks integrating system KPIs, IP metrics, and technology data.
  • Prototyping early STCO concepts using Excel and migrating to scalable Python-based frameworks.
  • Integerating multi-source technical inputs for analysis and evaluation.
  • Supporting pilot-level demonstrations and technical reviews.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in ASIC design, verification, validation, or integration.
  • Proficiency in Python for data modeling and framework development.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills for structured modeling and prototyping.
  • Knowledge of chiplet-based SoC architectures and integration concepts.
  • Solid understanding of system-level KPIs beyond PPAC.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with developing methodology or optimization tools.
  • Strong data analysis and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor design enablement flows or system-level modeling environments.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees preferable for reduced experience requirements.
