Staff Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Solution Engineering division develops IPs for various System-on-Chip (SoC) projects. The Staff Verification Engineer will be responsible for verifying RTL implementations of new features in the ARM SoC, ensuring compliance with architectural requirements.

Experience Level

Senior level with more than 5 years of proven experience in IP/SoC verification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the RTL team to understand microarchitecture details.
• Develop new verification environments and enhance existing ones, including stimulus generators and checkers.
• Verify functionality of new features and their compliance with existing functionalities.
• Implement verification strategies and mentor early-tenure verification engineers.
• Continuous improvement of verification methodologies based on learnings.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog; deep knowledge of UVM methodology.
• Solid understanding of SoC verification using C test cases.
• Experience with verification plans and test plans.
• Experience with testbench development using standard verification methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multi-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
