Role Summary

Individual contributor supporting test development for new power-management products within the Performance Computing Power business unit in Catania, Italy. Responsible for ATE test program and hardware development, product bring-up, characterization, and production ramp support.

Work involves analog, mixed-signal and power-management devices such as multiphase controllers, smart power stages, and 48V system regulators.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Preferably 5–8+ years of experience in ATE test engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include test development, validation, and production support:

  • Develop and maintain ATE test programs and test hardware for analog, mixed-signal, and power-management ICs.
  • Define and implement test plans to ensure coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Execute product bring-up, characterization, validation, and debug on ATE and bench setups.
  • Perform failure analysis and debug to resolve silicon and test issues.
  • Analyze test data to improve yield, repeatability, and test robustness using basic statistical methods.
  • Support production ramp, sustaining activities, and test-time/cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, and Operations to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
  • Apply established DFT and test methodologies.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; listed concisely.

  • 5–8+ years of ATE test engineering or equivalent experience in semiconductor test development.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE platforms (Advantest 93K, Teradyne, SPEA, or similar).
  • Practical debugging experience with analog and mixed-signal systems.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python, or similar for test and automation tasks.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods to assess test results and yield.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and hands-on execution skills; effective in cross-functional teams.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with power-management products (multiphase controllers, smart power stages, 48V regulators) and ATE cost/time optimization projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required. A Master’s degree is a plus.
