Role Summary

Join a global cross-functional team focused on ramping product yield from New Product Introduction through high-volume manufacturing. The role performs data-driven yield analysis and root-cause debugging across frontend, backend and test, and supports electrical failure analysis to localize defects and enable corrective actions.

Emphasis on using analytics, automation, and AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate yield improvements.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical analysis, failure isolation, cross-functional collaboration, and driving corrective actions to improve yield.

• Perform data analysis across Frontend, Backend and Test to identify yield limiters and drive root-cause diagnostics using analytics, automation, and AI-assisted tools.
• Conduct electrical characterization and failure analysis using bench testers and fault-isolation techniques to localize defects for Physical Failure Analysis (PFA).
• Partner with Frontend Process and Quality teams to implement manufacturing process corrections that improve yield.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Test Solution Engineering to analyze test-related yield issues and support shift-left initiatives.
• Work with Global Quality teams to ensure products meet customer and reliability requirements.
• Support yield learning during NPI, qualification, ramp, and mature production phases through data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, circuit layout, and schematics.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with global teams.
• Interest and aptitude for leveraging AI, automation, and scripting to reduce repetitive tasks and scale yield engineering workflows.
• Nice-to-have: programming experience in Perl, Python, and/or C/C++; hands-on experience with electrical characterization and failure analysis methods.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Microelectronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. The posting indicates both experienced professionals and recent graduates are welcome.
