Role Summary

Lead and own cross-project requirements management across the semiconductor product lifecycle. Serve as a subject-matter expert for requirements engineering processes, governance, toolchain administration, and tool integrations to ensure consistent, traceable specifications across System, Hardware, and Software domains.

Work with product teams, V&V, and tool owners to drive requirement coverage, testability, version/variant management, and process standardization for embedded semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include ownership of requirements processes, tool administration, integrations, and cross-team coordination.

  • Own and drive cross-project requirements management across the full product lifecycle.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for requirements engineering methods, processes, and governance.
  • Define, maintain, and enforce requirements management governance, rules, workflows, and best practices.
  • Ensure high-quality, consistent, and traceable specifications across System, Hardware, and Software domains; support V&V teams for requirement coverage and testability.
  • Lead creation and maintenance of requirements management plans (RMP) and related artifacts.
  • Drive version, variant, and change management for requirements across multiple products and programs.
  • Administer and configure requirements tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS); provide configuration, scripting, and user support.
  • Build and maintain interfaces to adjacent tool environments (ALM, PLM, V&V) using REST APIs and Python; develop tool customizations with JavaScript and Velocity scripting.
  • Define and monitor KPIs/metrics for requirement quality, coverage, and traceability; lead continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

Must-have technical and interpersonal skills required to perform the role.

  • Proven expertise in requirements engineering methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience as a requirements toolchain administrator (Polarion, DOORS, or similar).
  • Strong programming/scripting skills, especially Python for automation, data processing, and API integration.
  • Experience with REST-based system integration and engineering tool data exchange.
  • Practical knowledge of JavaScript and Velocity scripting for tool customization.
  • Structured, process-driven working style with focus on scalability, quality, and traceability.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence globally without direct authority.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with ALM/PLM/V&V tool environments and KPI implementation.

Education Requirements

University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable; or equivalent practical experience. Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
