Staff R&D Engineer - GPU

Role Summary

This position is for a Staff R&D Engineer specializing in GPU programming and advanced circuit simulation tools, primarily within the semiconductor design industry.

Experience Level

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant experience, or 5 years if holding a Master’s degree. Experience in programming, algorithms, and electronic circuits is critical.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced circuit simulators including PrimeSim Pro and PrimeSim HTV.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enhancing EDA software stack performance.
• Utilize C/C++ programming skills for efficient software solutions.
• Apply knowledge of data structures and algorithms to optimize simulation processes.
• Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of simulators.
• Stay updated with industry trends to improve product offerings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience (5 years for Master’s degree).
• Strong command of programming languages C/C++.
• At least 2 years of experience in GPU programming.
• In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of electronic circuit operation.
• Experience in multi-thread programming and proficiency in Linux-based environments is preferred.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is typically required; higher degrees may be preferred for certain positions.
