Role Summary
As a Staff Product Engineer at Analog Devices, you will be a technical leader responsible for developing advanced electronic systems and components. You will drive innovation in design methodologies and testing approaches while influencing product strategy and roadmaps.
Your expertise will be instrumental in solving complex engineering challenges and mentoring engineering teams to achieve breakthrough semiconductor solutions.
Experience Level
Senior level with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluation and characterization of ADCs, DACs, high-speed serial interfaces, and RF systems.
- Debugging and analyzing complex mixed-signal and RF systems; document and present findings.
- Verification and release of embedded software for system-level mixed-signal products.
- Formulating test plans and conducting lab testing of RF measurements.
- Taking silicon and ARM software from early development stage to full production release.
- Developing and automating test solutions using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW.
- Providing recommendations for lab equipment and testing strategies.
- Interfacing with design, test, application, software, and marketing teams.
- Mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in taking complex wireless platforms from development to market.
- Proven expertise in automating RF tests and experience with lab equipment.
- Deep knowledge of analog and RF circuits and mixed-signal systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as LabView, Python, and MATLAB.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking skills, and communication abilities.
Education Requirements
A BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience is required.
