Role Summary

The Staff Product Engineer (Logistic) is part of the sustaining team responsible for ensuring product continuity after mass production. The role supports high-volume production lines, drives yield improvement, and extends product lifecycles through cross-functional collaboration with design, test, manufacturing, quality, and supply-chain teams.

The position focuses on execution of sustaining projects, monitoring production supply chain and manufacturing metrics, and maintaining systems and reports that support stable mass production.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires a minimum of 5 years of product engineering experience supporting high-volume semiconductor products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include sustaining production, managing product data, and resolving manufacturing/test issues to maintain production continuity.

• Manage and maintain bill-of-materials (BOM) systems and ensure production systems operate correctly.
• Sustain multiple product lifecycles and oversee mass-production manufacturing across internal factories and subcontractors.
• Create and monitor engineering build requests to support qualification/validation builds and customer samples.
• Generate weekly yield and variance monitoring reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate and monitor SBL/SYL (system build list / system yield list) updates.
• Monitor and resolve manufacturing and test issues in collaboration with fabrication, assembly, and test sites.
• Work with database systems to generate reports that improve sustaining team productivity and decision-making.

Requirements

Required and preferred skills and experience for successful performance in this role.

Must-have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in product engineering or sustaining engineering for semiconductor products.
• Proficient in data manipulation and analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with integrated circuit / semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work on-site according to the team's in-office schedule (hybrid model with designated in-office days).

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with JMP or similar statistical/data-analysis tools; familiarity with PDF Exenso is a plus.
• Automation and scripting experience to support data processing and reporting.
• Experience managing BOM systems.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field is specified.
