Role Summary

As a Staff Product Engineer in the Analog and Mixed Signal Business Unit you will lead product development from concept through volume production. You will work with cross-functional teams (Design, Test, Applications, Failure Analysis, Suppliers) to define test and qualification plans, ensure product quality, and resolve yield or field issues.

Primary mission: deliver production-ready analog/mixed-signal semiconductor products that meet datasheet, qualification, and quality targets.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 7+ years of product engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Accountable for product lifecycle, quality, and production readiness.

• Own PE lifecycle from NPI to end-of-life, including NPI execution and velocity.
• Develop and execute test plans, qualification and reliability tests to meet JEDEC/AEC standards.
• Support design-for-test (DfT), product releases and qualifications.
• Characterize temperature/voltage/process and set production limits.
• Manage product BOM release and maintenance.
• Monitor production yields and quality using statistical tools; drive yield improvements.
• Manage excursions, supplier issues and customer escalations; lead root-cause investigations with FA.
• Optimize disposition limits (PAT, SYL, SBL, SPC) to balance quality and yield.
• Provide real-time customer support for product, design and quality issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

• 7+ years of product engineering experience in semiconductor products.
• Familiarity with ATE tester platforms (e.g., Teradyne J750, Advantest 93K).
• Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuitry, device physics, test methodology and DFT.
• Experience with lab test equipment and bench characterization.
• Familiarity with JEDEC/AEC qualification standards and stress-test conditions.
• Experience using yield-management and statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Spotfire).
• Ability to lead supplier/customer excursions and perform problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; effective team player in fast-paced environments.
• Nice-to-have: experience with qualification hardware/software development and semiconductor failure analysis.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering required; MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred. No certifications or explicit equivalent-experience language stated in the posting.
