Staff/Principal Verification Engineer - Video

Role Summary

This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated verification engineer to join the Arm Systems Media IP team, responsible for the development of Image Signal Processors (ISPs), Display Processors, and Video codecs for various end markets.

Responsibilities

• Verification ownership of unit or multi-unit hierarchy or lead of overall IP (ISP, Display, Video).
• Architecting verification IP and full verification environments.
• Reviewing proposed design changes from a verification complexity viewpoint.
• Analyzing data from simulations to drive efficient bug discovery and debug.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in processes and methodologies for hardware verification.
• Collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure high quality IP.
• Mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Experience with constrained-random verification and ownership of a complex verification environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SV-UVM and developing reusable, scalable code.
• Strong scripting skills for supporting verification flows.
• Solid software engineering skills, including understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with tools and processes for developing testbenches.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred for senior roles.

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.
