Role Summary
Qorvo is seeking an experienced Production Test Development Engineer to join the test development team in the Power Management division. This role is critical for ensuring the integrity and performance of Power Management ICs, addressing various applications in the Mobile, Consumer, IoT, and Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Staff Power Management Test Engineer include:
- Design PCB/probe cards and sockets according to R&D test plans and ATE test capabilities.
- Develop applications on production test platforms for optimal throughput in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Mentor junior test engineers on measurement methodologies for PMIC products.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for engineering test projects, design verification testing, and qualification testing.
- Generate and maintain documentation related to test systems and test development processes.
- Conduct correlation, Gage R&R, and ANOVA studies.
- Coordinate test program buyoff activities in labs and manufacturing sites.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical or Electronic or Semiconductor Engineering or a similar field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in developing Semiconductor devices as a Test Development Engineer, Test Engineer, or Application Engineer.
- Software development and debugging experience on ATE test systems, familiar with at least one test platform such as Cohu DMDX or Teradyne ETS88.
- Test development experience on power management devices including functional blocks like Buck, Boost, LDO, Charger, and Driver.
- Experience with schematic design and PCB layout using tools like Altium or Cadence.
- Skills in statistical engineering data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Strong ownership with a well-motivated engineering attitude.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and understanding program/project management.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical or Electronic or Semiconductor Engineering or similar degree.
