Staff Performance & PnP Modeling Architect

Role Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated System-on-Chip (SoC) Performance and Power modeling (PnP) Architects to join our diverse team at Arm. Our team focuses on PnP Analysis of Arm SoCs/SoPs, contributing to best-in-class silicon platforms across various markets.

Level - Senior

Responsibilities

• Efficiently drive and resolve architectural investigations and PnP tradeoff studies across various SoC and Platform components.
• Perform detailed workload characterization to identify performance bottlenecks and propose architectural solutions.
• Create profiling and visualization frameworks to analyze data at the right level of abstraction.
• Stay updated on advancements in application development, workload characterization, and performance/power/thermal analysis.

Requirements

• Experience of 10+ years in SoC Performance Modeling and analysis.
• Background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with expertise in computer architecture.
• Understanding of general-purpose CPU/GPU microarchitecture.
• Proficient in C/C++ and familiarity with SystemC TLM and Python.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
