Role Summary

The Staff Mixed Signal Analog Design Engineer will work within Analog Devices’ Precision Signal Chain Group to develop cutting-edge mixed signal products, guiding the architectural design and implementation processes.

Senior, with 7+ years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Working within an analog/mixed-signal design team based in Limerick and Cork.
  • Definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed signal devices.
  • IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
  • Conducting technical presentations to internal teams and customers.
  • Utilizing design and verification techniques to meet functional and power objectives.
  • Integrating blocks into larger mixed-signal systems.
  • Supporting layout, lab evaluation, and testing for successful delivery.
  • Improving analog design methodologies for faster and cost-effective market delivery.

Requirements

Must-have requirements include:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools, and flows.
  • Design experience with amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgap references, and LDOs is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electronic Engineering) or equivalent.
