Role Overview

The Memory Subsystem team is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) RTL and Integration Engineer. This position involves leading the design, development, and integration of high-speed LPDDR/DDR memory subsystem solutions, while collaborating with various teams across different locations.

Experience Level

This role requires a senior-level professional with significant experience in RTL design and integration, specifically within memory subsystems and complex SoC environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the RTL design and integration for memory subsystem IP and top-level logic.
  • Lead micro-architecture definition and successfully translate system requirements into robust RTL implementations.
  • Integrate IP blocks to deliver complete DDR/LPDDR memory subsystems across product lines.
  • Work closely with verification teams for test strategy, debug, and fixing pre-silicon issues.
  • Collaborate with physical design teams on key strategies such as timing targets and clocking.
  • Resolve complex functional, timing, and integration issues.
  • Document subsystem specifications and ensure quality interface definitions.
  • Support both pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up and collaborate with firmware teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote design best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess expert proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog, with extensive experience in designing and integrating memory subsystems. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of memory architecture and the ability to debug complex issues effectively.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
