Role Summary

Join Arm's Hardware Platform team as an experienced system-level hardware architect. Collaborate with various stakeholders to define technical requirements, assess design trade-offs, and develop optimal solutions for hardware platforms that cater to embedded compute, Cloud and Edge AI, and IoT markets.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with technical leads, product managers, and SoC development teams to translate technology requirements into platform architectures.
  • Create high-level architecture specifications for engineering teams.
  • Work proactively across Arm’s architecture and core technology groups to evaluate proposals and ensure alignment.
  • Contribute to new activities across various projects as required.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Deep technical understanding of SoC architectures involving high-performance embedded compute.
  • Experience with high-speed IO interface standards (e.g., PCIe, LPDDR, CSI, DSI).
  • Competence in embedded system board design and familiarity with FPGAs and PMICs.
  • Experience with EDA tools for schematic entry and PCB layout.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
