Role Summary
This role involves leading the post-silicon system and functional validation of complex SoCs/MCUs, ensuring their functional correctness and performance across varied conditions.
Experience Level
Senior; requires 13+ years of experience in post-silicon validation, system validation, or embedded SoC bring-up.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading post-silicon validation for SoCs/MCUs.
- Developing validation plans and test strategies.
- Collaborating with various teams to identify validation scopes.
- Setting up environments for validation.
- Validating system functionality under stress conditions.
- Creating test content and automation scripts.
- Driving debug and root cause analysis.
- Tracking bugs and managing closure.
- Leading a team of validation engineers.
- Preparing validation reports and risk assessments.
Requirements
Required skills include:
- B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong understanding of SoC architecture and low-power design.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces and standard protocols.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for firmware development.
- Hands-on experience with lab tools like oscilloscopes.
- Familiarity with validation frameworks and issue tracking systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Education Requirements
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
