Staff Engineer - Physical Design

Role Summary

An experienced ASIC Physical Design Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience, proficient in state-of-the-art CAD tools such as ICC2/FC, ICV, and FinFet. The role demands problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement DDR and HBM PHYs for customer ASICs and SOCs in the DDR and HBM PHY Hardening service line.
• Perform synthesis, physical design, verification, design for test, and ATPG.
• Contribute as a senior member of a design team or as a project design engineer.
• Provide regular updates to the manager and front-end to customers on project progress.
• Represent the organization on business unit and/or company-wide projects.
• Guide junior peers and network with senior personnel.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of related experience in ASIC Physical Design.
• Proficient in CAD tools such as DC, PT, ICC2/FC, and ICV.
• Experience with advanced technologies like FinFet.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
