Role Summary
The position involves working within Marvell's Central Engineering business group as a key member of a small analog team focusing on the design of sophisticated CMOS transceivers and SERDES products. You will engage in architectural investigations and implementations for various circuits including PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
Experience Level
This role is targeted towards candidates with advanced degrees such as a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, and seeks individuals who possess deep knowledge and experience in mixed signal designs.
Responsibilities
- Design and verify mixed signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and Filters to meet key performance targets.
- Utilize industry-standard design verification tools like SPICE, Spectre, and MATLAB for evaluation.
- Conduct architectural investigations and contribute to the design of high-performance circuits.
- Perform lab testing and evaluate prototypes against design specifications.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies and hands-on experience in circuit designs.
- Familiarity with low power and high speed design techniques.
- Proficient use of IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, and Verilog.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High-speed ADC design experience is preferred.
Education Requirements
Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering is required.
