Role Summary
The Staff Digital Design Engineer will be part of the hardware development team, responsible for designing power and area optimized digital circuits for complex mixed-signal applications. The role involves collaborating closely with analog and verification engineers to deliver high-quality silicon solutions.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring the digital development process is state-of-the-art and meets budget and schedule goals.
- Designing digital RTL that adheres to timing, area, and power specifications.
- Integrating design at the top level and executing block & top-level simulations.
- Participating in all aspects of mixed-signal design flow, including micro-architecture and RTL design.
- Coordinating with the P&R team to achieve layout goals.
- Supporting DFT strategy and implementation.
- Debugging top-level test-bench and conducting simulations.
- Collaborating with verification engineers on complex pre-silicon test scenarios.
- Assisting analog teams in developing AMS models.
- Creating detailed design documentation and participating in design reviews.
- Documenting device errata and implementing necessary engineering changes.
Requirements
The position requires the following qualifications:
- More than 10 years of experience in digital design related to wireless handheld, data conversion, and power management.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL for digital CMOS design.
- Strong understanding of ASIC design methodology and verification techniques.
- Experience with digital signal processing and mixed-signal design methodologies.
- Knowledge of Linting, CDC, and RDC tools.
- Strong debugging skills for RTL and gate-level simulations.
- Experience with low-power design techniques and required industry-standard protocols.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
Education Requirements
A degree-level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory.
