Role Summary
The Staff Test Engineer will oversee the test strategy and execution for Battery Management System (BMS) products. This role requires technical expertise in mixed-signal and SOC IC testing, and strong leadership to enhance product quality and expedite time-to-market.
Experience Level
Senior: 10+ years in semiconductor test engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing test strategies for BMS IC products from new product introduction to high-volume manufacturing.
- Overseeing design and debugging of automated test programs and hardware for ATE platforms.
- Ensuring robust test coverage to guarantee product performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage DFT feedback and production processes.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize test efficiency and costs.
Requirements
Must-have skills include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years in semiconductor test engineering, focusing on mixed-signal ICs.
- Proficiency in test automation programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard ATE.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
