Role Summary

The Staff Analog Layout Engineer will be a part of the Central Engineering business group at Marvell, contributing to various sectors including Automotive, Storage, Security, and Networking. The role focuses on working collaboratively within a small analog team while allowing for deep specialization in projects.

Experience Level

Senior-level position. Candidates are expected to have significant experience in analog layout design.

Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to:

• Run simulations and verifications using Cadence Virtuoso.
• Collaborate closely with designers to refine and debug designs.
• Participate in project lifecycles and ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Engage in regular meetings to provide updates and present issues or solutions.
• Assume responsibility for various stages of the design process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A fundamental understanding of electrical concepts, ideally with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience using CAD tools for implementing microelectronic design layers.
• A track record of designing high-speed or precision analog circuits across multiple process nodes.
• Excellent communication skills for sharing updates with global teams.

Education Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering (graduate or undergraduate) is preferred.
