Staff Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Staff Analog Design Engineer will design key analog blocks, integrating them to create functional IPs and ICs, while managing the overall performance and quality of designs. The role involves working within the Power Business Unit on products like PMICs and DC-DC converters for mobile devices.

Experience Level

Senior, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in analog circuit design and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Design and ownership of key analog blocks like op-amps and comparators.
  • Create architectures meeting performance specifications.
  • Guide layout engineers to ensure quality design.
  • Optimize design flows and assess trade-offs related to performance.
  • Mentor junior engineers in technical skills and project execution.
  • Drive multiple block developments independently.
  • Validate silicon and address debugging issues.
  • Design I/O rings with consideration for ESD.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7+ years in Analog Circuit Design, Simulation, and Verification.
  • Strong background in block designs with full ownership and related tools.
  • Experience in schematic generation and verification using CAD tools.
