SRAM Design Engineer
Role Summary
Join the Digital IP team to design and optimize embedded SRAM macros and develop SRAM compiler automation used across NVIDIA SOC designs. The role combines transistor-level circuit design, compiler-style automation, and collaboration with SOC, test, and productization teams.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career - typically 2+ years of professional SRAM design experience is expected.
Responsibilities
Deliver transistor-level SRAM designs and automation to enable efficient integration and validation of SRAM macros across NVIDIA SOCs.
- Design transistor-level SRAM circuits and supervise layout implementation.
- Perform physical and logical verification and debug of SRAM macros.
- Develop and maintain SRAM compiler automation to assemble and validate many unique macros.
- Evaluate advanced process-node techniques to optimize power, performance, and area.
- Collaborate with SOC design teams, silicon test, and productization to meet performance and cost targets.
Requirements
Core qualifications and technical skills required or strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in SRAM design.
- Experience with transistor-level circuit design, layout supervision, verification, and macro debug.
- Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout tools.
- Ability and willingness to use AI tools effectively in day-to-day engineering tasks.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Nice-to-have: silicon testing and debugging experience; experience with AI coding/analysis tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) minimum, or equivalent practical experience. Master (MSEE) or PhD in a related field are listed as preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
