Role Summary

Manage development and delivery of high-speed SerDes PHY IP projects within the Mixed-Signal Semiconductor IP team. Lead cross-functional engineering teams, define project roadmaps with R&D and Marketing, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery to customers.

This role combines technical leadership in ASIC/IC design with program and stakeholder management to accelerate IP delivery for high-performance computing applications.

Responsibilities

The manager is accountable for project planning, execution, cross-team coordination, and customer-facing support for SerDes PHY IP projects.

• Plan and manage development and delivery of high-speed SerDes PHY IP projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams and define project roadmaps with R&D and Marketing.
• Identify resource needs, manage risks, and resolve technical and program issues to keep projects on track.
• Drive process improvements and establish team best practices for project execution.
• Collaborate on pre-sales and post-sales activities with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and customers.

Requirements

• Must-have: Strong knowledge of IC design and ASIC development relevant to mixed-signal/high-speed IP.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with high-speed SerDes PHY IP, mixed-signal semiconductor IP, or pre/post-sales technical collaboration.

Education Requirements

Engineering degree required: Bachelor's (BS) with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree (e.g., MS) with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include electrical engineering, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines related to integrated circuit design and ASIC development. Equivalent practical experience in lieu of degree is recognized where noted by the employer.
