Role Summary

The Memory Subsystem team at AMD is hiring a senior verification engineer to design and verify high-speed LPDDR/DDR memory subsystem solutions. This role involves leading verification efforts for various product lines and participating in firmware co-verification using UVM.

Experience Level

Senior level expertise is required, with a focus on advanced verification strategies within memory subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain UVM-based verification environments.
• Lead verification at both IP and subsystem levels, including test planning and execution.
• Develop co-verification environments that integrate firmware with hardware simulations.
• Integrate and debug Memory VIP and other test-related components.
• Analyze code coverage and manage regression tests.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, and C/C++.
• Experience with IP subsystem verification using industry-standard simulators.
• Background in testbench architecture and firmware/hardware verification.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, Git, and/or Perforce.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in verification engineering.
