Sr. Silicon Design Engineer

Role Summary

The Infinity Fabric transport layer verification team is looking for an experienced pre-silicon verification engineer to help verify configurable switches and die-to-die interconnect. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance configurable testbench operations and mentoring junior engineers.

Experience Level

Senior level; proven experience verifying complex design blocks at the IP or SoC level is required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and enhance System Verilog / UVM-based testbenches for client, server, graphics, and semi-custom interconnects.
  • Engage with architects, RTL designers, performance engineers, and post-silicon validation engineers to deepen understanding of the Infinity Fabric architecture.
  • Understand TestBench Architecture and develop expertise in TestBench Verification Components.
  • Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Proficient in IP level ASIC verification.
  • Experience in architecting and developing complex verification environments and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with scripting using Perl, Ruby, Make, or similar.
  • Exposure to RTL design, software development, and formal verification.
  • UVM TestBench Development experience is preferred.
  • Industry experience is a plus.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is required.
