Sr. Project Engineering Manager
Role Summary
As a Project Engineering Manager on the UCIe project management team, you will plan and execute development projects that deliver SoC products for consumer, industrial, and automotive applications. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams, manage project schedules, resources and risks, and represent R&D to customers and senior leadership.
This role focuses on project delivery, cross-team coordination, and mentoring engineers to meet scope, schedule, and budget targets.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include project planning, execution, tracking, stakeholder communication, and team leadership.
- Define project requirements, scope, and objectives with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Represent R&D in customer relationships and manage escalations and mitigation efforts.
- Mentor and guide team members to improve performance and collaboration.
Requirements
Must-have technical and professional skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Understanding of SoC lifecycle from concept to tape-out.
- Proven project management experience leading engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
