Role Summary

Join our elite North America hardware application engineering team at Cadence Design Systems, working closely with the best AEs, PEs, and R&D in the EDA industry. You will be a leading product expert on advanced FPGA-based prototyping, focusing on Cadence’s Protium X3 system and driving differentiated HW emulation solutions with major semiconductor and system companies.

Experience Level

Senior level, with a minimum of 12 years of industry experience required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Assume technical leadership for Protium compiler flow.
  • Provide in-depth technical assistance in collaboration with R&D to secure design wins.
  • Champion customer needs and collaborate with R&D in India to develop innovative technical solutions.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • Strong experience in FPGA-based emulation or prototyping.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and diagnosing performance bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of interface bring-up on FPGA platforms such as PCIe and DDR.
  • Proficient in SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, and C/C++/SystemC.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
