Solutions Engineering Sr. Staff Engineer - DFT/RTL Design Product Engineer

Role Summary

The Solutions Engineering Sr. Staff Engineer focuses on developing end-to-end solutions for Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) within Synopsys. This role involves collaboration with R&D and product development teams to validate solutions and drive deployment at customer projects.

Experience Level

Senior level with at least 8 years of relevant experience in DFT/BIST insertion, RTL design, and functional verification.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with R&D teams to develop and implement solutions for customers.
• Gathering detailed customer requirements to assist product development.
• Validating solutions in both internal and customer environments.
• Facilitating the smooth integration of SLM and test solutions into client projects.
• Enhancing the DFT IP portfolio and driving product adoption.

Requirements

The candidate must possess the following:

• BSEE/MSEE in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of hands-on experience with DFT/BIST insertion, RTL design, and functional verification.
• Strong familiarity with JTAG IEEE 1149.1, IEEE 1687/1500 standards.
• Ability to handle hierarchical SoCs and pattern porting.
• Debugging skills in UVM environments.
• Knowledge of synthesis and timing constraints (SDC).

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
