Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Validate the Pegasus DRC tool on real customer cases and reproduce issues on-site.
• Triage customer problem reports to identify root causes and narrow investigation scope.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks in a large-scale, distributed verification system.
• Trace program flow and source code to locate defects and performance hotspots.
• Document and communicate technical findings to R&D, product, and QA teams.
• Collaborate across teams to propose fixes or workarounds and verify resolutions.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to improved troubleshooting practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

• Proficient programming skills in one or more of: C, C++, Python, TCL, or Perl.
• Confident, independent troubleshooting and debugging ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication and summary skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience (2+ years) in Physical Verification domains such as DRC, LVS, ERC, PERC, Antenna, or FILL.
• In-depth knowledge of ESD, ERC, PERC, gate-level netlist formats, or circuit structure.

Education Requirements

MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (as stated in the posting).
