Responsibilities
The role combines hands-on benchmarking with analysis and communication of results to engineering teams.
- Run ML/AI workloads on Arm platforms (pre-silicon and post-silicon) and collect performance data.
- Analyse performance results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend software or hardware improvements.
- Produce clear technical summaries and reports tailored to engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain repeatable test and automation harnesses for workload execution, data collection, and profiling.
- Share findings and best practices across teams to improve product performance and verification.

- Demonstrable experience in pre-silicon or post-silicon performance analysis.
- Hands-on experience running workloads on Linux or Android devices, development boards, or pre/post-silicon environments.
- Experience developing or using automation harnesses for repeatable workload execution, data collection, profiling, and analysis.
- Strong scripting and data-analysis skills (e.g. Python, shell scripting) for automating tests and interpreting results.
- Experience with profiling tools, hardware performance counters, system traces, or telemetry.
- Good communication skills; able to present detailed analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capable of working independently and in teams; proactive problem-solver and self-starter.
- Experience with pre-silicon platforms such as FPGA (nice-to-have).
- Knowledge of ML/AI workloads (nice-to-have; can be learned on the job).
Education Requirements
University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
