The Software Engineer - Consultant will be part of a team focused on developing comprehensive verification IPs for various interfaces, including PCIe Gen5/Gen6, USB3.2, 400Gigabit Ethernet, DDR5, and leading coherency protocols like CXL for use with Questa RTL simulation.
Experience Level
Senior-level position requiring 15+ years of relevant experience in RTL design, IP/VIP development/verification or emulation.
Responsibilities
The role involves working with technical teams and customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with field engineers and application engineers to deploy solutions.
- Resolving customer issues effectively.
- Contributing to the development and testing of verification IPs.
Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics or related field.
- 15+ years of working experience in relevant fields.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM.
- Familiarity with Assertions, Coverage, Test Plans, and design/debug tools.
- Understanding of Register layering, with experience in C/SystemC based tests as an advantage.
- Knowledge of bus protocols such as PCIe, CXL, USB, and Ethernet.
- Understanding of coherent/non-coherent NOC systems.
- Insight into system-level performance metrics like latency and bandwidth.
Education Requirements
Required educational background includes a degree in Electronics or a related field from a reputed institution.
