Role Summary

Work on software that powers wafer inspection and defect classification for KLA's optical and eBeam platforms. The role involves full‑stack development and close collaboration with hardware, algorithms, and systems teams to deliver high‑throughput, production‑ready solutions.

Responsibilities

The team develops scalable, high‑performance inspection and review systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for inspection and review systems.
• Work across the stack: UI, backend services, and system integration.
• Collaborate with hardware, algorithms, and end users to define, specify, and validate solutions.
• Optimize performance for compute‑intensive workloads and improve system‑level efficiency.
• Contribute to code quality, testing, CI/CD, and shared engineering practices.
• Rapidly ramp on new domains and take ownership of ambiguous or unfamiliar problems.
• Experiment with AI / agentic coding tools to accelerate development and improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Must-have: Strong proficiency in C++ and practical experience in Linux environments.
• Must-have: Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
