Role Summary

Join the application engineering team to support customers using Silicon Labs wireless connectivity solutions. The team delivers user guides, example code, and hands-on customer support across product development from planning through certification.

The role focuses on embedded software for wireless products (BLE, Wi‑Fi and related technologies) and involves creating examples, documentation, and collaborating with R&D, IC design, and marketing.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve customer support, software examples, and cross-team collaboration.

• Provide hands-on technical support to customers during design and development.
• Create application example code, application notes, and quick start guides for wireless products.
• Develop and validate firmware for 32-bit wireless MCU platforms and embedded systems.
• Collaborate with IC design, software engineering, and marketing on product evaluations and new product definition.
• Assist customers through certification processes and product bring-up.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and competencies for the role.

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals.
• Experience with embedded or real-time operating systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with wireless protocols such as Bluetooth LE and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with FreeRTOS and Zephyr.
• Experience working with 32-bit wireless MCU platforms.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is specified. The role also specifies 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
