Role Summary
The SOC / System Validation Architect at Advanced Micro Devices is responsible for defining, designing, and leading the implementation of the validation architecture for SoCs. This position is pivotal in aligning validation strategies with product requirements and ensuring comprehensive pre- and post-silicon validation processes.
Experience Level
This position requires over 15 years of experience in SoC validation or systems architecture, with an emphasis on both pre-silicon and post-silicon methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end SoC validation architecture, including simulation, emulation, and FPGA techniques.
- Lead pre-silicon validation efforts using various platforms and ensure comprehensive system-level use case validation.
- Architect post-silicon validation frameworks and support early silicon bring-up and debugging.
- Act as a technical authority, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure validation alignment through all phases of product development.
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in SoC validation or system architecture.
- Expertise in SoC validation methodologies, CPU/GPU architectures, memory subsystems, and high-speed I/O standards.
- Hands-on experience with emulation platforms and strong system-level debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence design decisions.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
