SoC Program Manager

The SoC Program Manager at Qualcomm is responsible for managing the execution of complex semiconductor devices throughout the complete ASIC lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and product development milestones.
Experience Level
Senior level, requiring a total of 10-15 years of experience with at least 3 years in project/program management.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include:
- Managing ASIC/IP development lifecycle.
- Collaborating with design, verification, synthesis, and physical design teams toward successful tape-outs.
- Implementing risk management and effective reporting on product development milestones and staffing status.
- Conducting development reviews and controlling change through established processes.
Requirements
The following qualifications are required:
- Experience in ASIC lifecycle development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and program management skills.
- Experience interfacing with foundry and operations (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with at least 4 years of experience, or a Master’s or PhD with less experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field; or Master's degree with relevant experience; or PhD with relevant experience.
