The SOC Functional Verification Engineer is responsible for planning, building, and executing the verification of both new and existing features for AMD's graphics processor IP, ensuring a bug-free design output.
This position requires 8+ years of experience in design verification within a professional setting.
Candidates should possess strong familiarity with verification methodologies, such as OVM, UVM, or VMM; have knowledge of Verilog and logic design concepts; and understand system-level architecture, including memory controllers like DDR4/DDR5 and peripheral interfaces like USB and PCIe. Proficiency in a UNIX environment and scripting languages (Perl, Python) is essential, alongside excellent debugging skills using industry-standard tools like VCS and Verdi.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Candidates with 8+ years of relevant design verification experience and proficiency in object-oriented programming (System Verilog, SpecmanE, or C++) will be prioritized.
