SOC Engineer - Physical Design

Role Summary

We're looking for a SOC Engineer with a strong background in electronics and a keen understanding of physical design processes. You will be involved in developing and implementing advanced SOC designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

This position requires 7 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in the Place & Route domain, utilizing tools such as Fusion Compiler/ICC2. You should possess a strong foundation in related engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing SOC designs using Synopsys EDA tools throughout all stages.
• Acting as a trusted advisor on turnkey projects while collaborating with customer design and CAD teams.
• Finding innovative solutions to technical challenges independently.
• Setting and achieving task-level goals to meet project schedules.
• Collaborating with business unit applications and sales teams to enhance tool and IP solutions.
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a BS/MS/PhD in Electronics Engineering, Electromechanics, or Telecommunications, along with proven experience in Place & Route domains. A strong command over debugging, P&R fundamentals, extraction, timing analysis, and physical verification is essential.

Education Requirements

BS/MS/PhD in Electronics Engineering, Electromechanics, or Telecommunications is required.
