Role Summary

The SoC DFT Engineer will be part of Apple's Silicon Technologies group, responsible for designing and manufacturing high-performance, power-efficient processors. This role involves full lifecycle involvement in semiconductor design, helping to ensure that Apple products operate efficiently and reliably.

Experience Level

Senior level with a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

The DFT Engineer will be tasked with:

  • Developing and implementing DFT architecture
  • Implementing DFT infrastructure
  • Collaborating with DV team to verify DFT implementations
  • Generating structural test vectors and analyzing coverage
  • Resolving STA, physical, power, and logical issues with designers
  • Assisting test engineers in test vector bring-up on silicon
  • Managing schedules and supporting multi-functional engineering efforts

Requirements

Must-have qualifications include:

  • BS degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of DFT standards including ATPG, JTAG, MBIST
  • Experience in developing DFT specifications and methodologies
  • Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL
  • Understanding of DV methodologies for validating DFT in simulation
  • Experience in silicon debug and data analysis

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
