SoC Design Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for functional verification of integrated SoCs to ensure the design meets specifications. Works within the Data Center Group (DCG) to develop and execute verification plans, test benches, and verification environments for blocks, subsystems, and full chips.
This is an on-site role in Bangalore focused on pre-silicon verification, emulation, system simulation, and collaboration with architecture and design teams.

Responsibilities
Key duties include planning and executing verification activities, reproducing and debugging issues, and maintaining verification infrastructure.
- Define and develop scalable, reusable verification plans, test benches, and environments for blocks, subsystems, and SoC.
- Implement and execute verification plans to achieve required coverage against microarchitecture specifications.
- Run emulation and system-level simulations to verify functionality, analyze power and performance, and find bugs.
- Replicate, root-cause, and debug pre-silicon failures; implement corrective measures and retest.
- Collaborate with SoC architects, micro-architects, RTL developers, post-silicon and physical design teams to resolve issues and improve verification for complex features.
- Document test plans and lead technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
- Incorporate and execute security-related tests, regressions, and debug activities into verification plans.
- Maintain and enhance functional verification infrastructure and methodology; update coverage based on post-silicon learnings.

- Proficient knowledge of verification methodologies and functional verification processes.
- Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Good understanding of computer architecture and system-level behavior.
- Experience with emulation, system simulation, and performance/power analysis in pre-silicon validation.
- Strong debugging skills and experience reproducing and root-causing complex issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience or familiarity with AI-related toolsets, agentic AI concepts, or large language models (LLMs).
Education Requirements
Pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree. The posting specifies a Masters-level requirement or equivalent degree.
