Job Title

SoC Design and Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Work on SoC architecture, RTL design, integration and verification for high-performance ASICs targeting mobile, AI, compute and XR applications. Join an SoC/ASIC engineering team responsible for RTL design, flows and methodology for advanced process nodes.

Deliver design and verification solutions, support IP integration and system simulation, and drive process and automation improvements.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Preferred 5–10 years of relevant ASIC/SoC experience; minimum experience expectations vary with degree (see Education Requirements).

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for architecture and RTL execution, verification, and design integration across SoCs and IPs.

  • Execute SoC architecture and RTL design according to design protocols and project requirements.
  • Resolve architecture, design, and verification issues using sound ASIC engineering practices.
  • Implement and follow design and verification strategies for ASICs, SoCs, and IP cores.
  • Participate in design analyses and IP reviews; support system-level simulation.
  • Identify and implement flow and process improvements, including automation and scripting.
  • Provide silicon feedback to process, methodology, IP and SoC teams.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Hands-on ASIC/SoC RTL design and integration experience; verification and validation exposure.
  • Must-have: Experience with IP integration, system simulation, and resolving silicon or design issues.
  • Must-have: Scripting or tooling experience for process automation.
  • Must-have: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication/teamwork.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with advanced process nodes (sub-5nm) and high-performance SoC design flows.

Education Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field (MS preferred). Posting allows multiple qualification paths: Bachelor's +2 years relevant ASIC experience, Master's +1 year, or PhD. Fields referenced include science and engineering disciplines; equivalent practical experience is accepted per the listed minimum-qualification alternatives.
