Role Summary
The Silicon Power Engineer role at Meta is part of the Reality Labs team, which focuses on developing cutting-edge AI-enabled wearables. The engineer will contribute to the optimization of silicon power for Machine Learning Hardware accelerators, collaborating with various teams to drive innovations in the development of wearable devices.

Senior; requires at least 6 years of experience in production silicon engineering.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Detailed modeling, analysis, and optimization of power usage for Machine Learning Hardware accelerators.
- Collaboration with ML architects and designers to optimize performance, power, and area (PPA) of ML compute datapath design blocks.
- Cross-disciplinary teamwork to innovate and prototype concepts for high-volume consumer products.
- Domestic and international travel as needed.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in production silicon engineering.
- Proficiency in debugging, diagnosing, and resolving interdisciplinary system issues.
- Knowledge of silicon design trade-offs and backend implementation.
- Experience with power analysis and simulation tools such as Power Exchange or Power Artist.
- Programming experience in Python, TCL, or Perl.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field; Master's or PhD preferred.
