Role Summary

The role of the Silicon Design Engineer is to work within the Chiplet Interconnect Technology team to develop industry-leading high-performance interconnects IP for AMD products. You will engage in the functional verification process, including test plan development and regression testing.

Experience Level

This position requires more than 6 years of design verification experience, particularly in modern processor architectures and digital design verification.

Responsibilities

• Create and review comprehensive test plans with stakeholders.
• Develop testbench components for next-generation IP.
• Execute and maintain regression tests and debug corresponding issues.
• Enhance existing test libraries to improve IP-level testing.
• Provide technical support to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a desire to collaborate with team members in different locations. Familiarity with SystemVerilog and verification libraries like UVM is preferred. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
