As a Silicon Design Engineer, you will work with architects and designers to verify functional design properties and drive convergence. You will engage in pre-Silicon Verification of next-generation high-performance Microprocessor designs.
Experience Level
Entry-level position; prior internship experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Researching, designing, developing, and testing software components for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Performing pre-Silicon Verification of microprocessor designs and related IPs.
- Developing and executing verification test plans.
- Creating high-level language testbench components in SystemVerilog.
- Simulating and debugging directed and random stimuli to verify designs.
- Developing tools and processes for functional verification.
- Documenting test plans and driving reviews with peers.
- Managing verification quality metrics like pass rates and code coverage.
Requirements
Required qualifications include:
- Solid knowledge of English.
- Individual responsibility and a desire for achievement.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: modern computer architecture, C++ programming, logic design in HDL (e.g., Verilog or VHDL), hardware verification methodologies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
