Role Summary

As a Silicon Design Engineer, you will work with architects and designers to verify functional design properties and drive convergence. You will engage in pre-Silicon Verification of next-generation high-performance Microprocessor designs.

Experience Level

Entry-level position; prior internship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Researching, designing, developing, and testing software components for semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Performing pre-Silicon Verification of microprocessor designs and related IPs.
  • Developing and executing verification test plans.
  • Creating high-level language testbench components in SystemVerilog.
  • Simulating and debugging directed and random stimuli to verify designs.
  • Developing tools and processes for functional verification.
  • Documenting test plans and driving reviews with peers.
  • Managing verification quality metrics like pass rates and code coverage.

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

  • Solid knowledge of English.
  • Individual responsibility and a desire for achievement.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: modern computer architecture, C++ programming, logic design in HDL (e.g., Verilog or VHDL), hardware verification methodologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
