Role Summary
The Silicon Architect is responsible for the architectural development of compute subsystems for next-generation ARM-based SoCs, focusing on high-performance compute cluster design involving ARM core complexes, CMN/CCN mesh interconnects, and memory subsystem architecture.

Experienced Hire, requiring 4+ years of experience in SoC or CPU subsystem design.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead architectural definition of compute clusters for ARM-based SoCs.
- Drive memory subsystem architecture, including controller definition and cache hierarchy design.
- Develop and maintain high-level performance, power, and area requirements.
- Collaboration with modelling teams to guide architectural choices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain architecture intent during implementation.
- Evaluate and integrate IP blocks such as accelerators and I/O subsystems.
- Provide architectural leadership for networking-centric flows.
- Drive system interconnect requirements and bandwidth analysis.
- Author architecture specifications and design guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- 4+ years of experience in SoC or CPU subsystem design.
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating tradeoffs across performance, power, and cost.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with ARM CMN/CCN interconnects or cache-coherency protocols.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with datacenter or edge networking silicon.
- Proven experience in memory subsystem architecture.
- Understanding of networking architectures and data-path acceleration techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing trade-offs and hardware-software co-design.
- Background in large-scale SoC bring-up.
