Role Summary

The ASIC Products Division at Broadcom develops complex IC solutions and technologies for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, wireless infrastructure, and networking. The Signal Integrity Engineer will work on next generation products focusing on parallel interfaces, collaborating with R&D, IP development, customers, and manufacturing partners.

Experience Level

Senior; requires 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

  • Mask-based timing signoff using time domain simulations of parallel interfaces.
  • Electromagnetic extraction and modeling of signal and power delivery channels.
  • AC and transient analysis of Power Distribution Networks.
  • IO channel analysis.
  • Pre-layout modeling of transceivers and networks.
  • Automate sign-off processes and collaborate with EDA suppliers.
  • Generate analysis results, presentations, reports, and support pre-sales activities.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple customers under tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of DDR/LPDDR and/or HBM SI/PI sign-off tool suites.
  • Experience with TCL and Python scripting.
  • Ability to manage analysis, documentation, and presentations.

Nice-to-have skills include flexibility to integrate new ideas and tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
