Server Quality and Reliability Intern

Role Summary

Join the server validation team to support testability, manufacturability, and reliability of silicon products from initial bring-up through production. Work with cross-functional engineering teams on validation, debug, test execution, and product qualification.

This is a hands-on internship to build skills through projects that support Intel's server product goals.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Internship. Intended for current students; candidate should have at least one year remaining in their degree program.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Support silicon product validation: test planning, debug, and test execution from bring-up to mass production.
• Help resolve engineering issues to improve product performance, yield, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product qualification and lifecycle activities.
• Complete hands-on projects to learn validation and testing methods used in server silicon development.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred skills for initial consideration.

• Must-have: Academic experience in programming and data analysis tools.
• Must-have: Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Must-have: Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
• Nice-to-have: Coursework or exposure to computer and system architecture concepts.
• Nice-to-have: Experience or interest in data science, big data applications, silicon physics, process validation, and testing methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with Design for Test (DFT) hardware testing methods and tools.

Education Requirements

Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Electronics, Materials Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field; at least one year remaining as an active student. Academic coursework or equivalent experience in programming, data analysis, computer/system architecture, and engineering-related validation/testing topics is expected.
