Senior level; requires 5+ years of experience in analog circuit design and simulation, specifically in SerDes.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with analog teams for SPICE-vs-model correlation and sign-off.
- Developing and refining behavioral models for high-speed SerDes blocks.
- Capturing calibration, adaptation, and impairments in models.
- Working with digital verification teams on edge-case coverage.
- Automating comparison flows and improving model fidelity.
- Embedding realistic non-idealities and verifying behavioral netlists.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include:
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with SerDes analog blocks and modeling impairments.
- Fluency with SPICE tools and waveform analysis.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, TCL, Perl, C/C++.
- Experience in automating comparisons and reporting.
Education Requirements
BSc, MSc, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
