Senior Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Verification Engineer will be part of the Solution Engineering division at Arm. This role involves verifying RTL that implements features in Arm's SoCs, ensuring compliance with architectural requirements for both new and existing functionalities.

Experience Level

Senior level, with more than 5 years of experience in IP/SOC verification.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Collaborating with the RTL team to understand microarchitecture details.
• Developing and enhancing verification environments, including stimulus generators and checkers.
• Verifying that new ARM architecture features function as specified.
• Implementing verification strategies in partnership with other engineers.
• Contributing to the improvement of verification methodology.
• Mentoring early-tenure verification engineers.

Requirements

Must-have skills include:

• Advanced proficiency in SystemVerilog and Verilog, with knowledge of UVM methodology.
• Solid understanding of SoC verification and experience writing verification plans.
• Experience with ARM-based designs.
• Proficient in Perl, Python or other scripting languages.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience with AMBA protocols and JTAG.
• Hands-on experience with ARM CoreSight IP.
• Exposure to low-power design techniques.
• Experience with DFT concepts.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
