Senior Test Engineer
Role Summary
Senior individual-contributor responsible for ATE test development, product validation, and debugging for power-management and mixed-signal products in the Performance Computing Power (PCP) unit in Catania, Italy.
The role supports product bring-up, characterization, production ramp and sustaining engineering to deliver reliable, cost-effective test solutions.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 3–6+ years of experience in test engineering or a related field.
Responsibilities
Primary duties include developing and maintaining tests and supporting product validation and production activities.
- Develop and maintain ATE test programs and hardware for analog, mixed-signal, and power-management products.
- Implement test plans to meet coverage and quality targets.
- Support product bring-up, characterization, validation, and production ramp activities.
- Perform debug and failure analysis on ATE systems and bench setups.
- Analyze test data to improve yield and test stability.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Engineering to resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to test-time and test-cost optimization, and follow DFT methodologies and test standards.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and tools for day-to-day execution; preferred items listed separately.

Must-have: 3–6+ years in test engineering or related role; experience with ATE platforms (Advantest, Teradyne, SPEA or similar); debugging analog and mixed-signal circuits; familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer); programming skills in C/C++ or Python; basic understanding of DFT and production test flows; experience with data analysis and statistical methods.

Nice-to-have: experience with power-management products (multiphase controllers, smart power stages, 48V regulators); production ramp/sustaining engineering experience; experience optimizing test-time and cost.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is specified; a Master's degree is listed as a plus.
